Buisness in Japan

Startup Visas

6-month Visa “Tokyo Program”

The most efficient way is using the program provided by Tokyo City ,the correct name of which is “Program to increase foreign entrepreneurs”. We have started the package service for “Tokyo Program”.

4-month Business Management Visa

This Visa is a startup visa that is screened by the Immigration Services Agency. Like the 6-month visa supported by local governments, it is designed as a preparation period for company establishment.

With a partner in Japan

This is an option that is not used very often these days, but there are cases where it is still used. This is a method of having a partner in Japan temporarily hold a small amount of shares in the company and also assume the position of representative director, and after obtaining a visa, conduct a representative aid.In Japan, this kind of method is used because it is difficult for foreigners to rent an office or other facilities without obtaining a status of residence, but since a rental office can be paid for with a credit card, it is used less frequently these days.

Support for Expansion into Japan

We assist companies already doing business in their home country to expand their business to Japan. We assist with establishment of offices, legal and accounting matters, and acquisition of status of residence (for management/employees and family members).

Branch/Subsidiary Establishment/Representative Establishment

A branch office is established by registering the parent company in the home country as it is, while a subsidiary is established by incorporating a wholly-owned company. In addition, a representative office, which does not engage in business activities, can be established.

M&A

The biggest stumbling block for foreigners setting up a business in Japan is opening a corporate bank account. One solution is to buy a company that already has a bank account.
